Quote:
Ernst, one of the nine new Republicans elected to Washington last year, was chosen by her leadership to deliver the official response to the president’s State of the Union address, but she wasn’t alone. There were five GOP responses to the State of the Union: Carlos Curbelo, a newly elected Republican Congressman from Miami, delivered a speech in Spanish. Another Florida Republican, Rep. Curt Clawson, delivered his response on behalf of the tea party. Rand Paul and Ted Cruz, the two members of the Senate most obviously running for president, each delivered their own speeches on YouTube.

The surplus of GOP responses may have something to do with the current disorganization within the party; it might also have to do with the fact that it’s very easy for lawmakers to build a fan base among like-minded supporters. Still, it’s hard to know why anyone would want to. If Obama’s speeches are almost always immediately forgotten, then the responses to them are, at best, instantly relegated to the dustbin of history, and at worst, fodder for silly memes.
well there you have it/ more at ink

Not an issue. With the 2016 elections not so far away. Obama left alot for comment with his address. He obviously doesn't get that in the mid terms America told the Democrats we were headed in the WRONG direction.

The rest of his term he will not play well with others, not that he ever has...

Such a disapointment from a guy who claimed to be a uniter. That won him his first election. The second one he stole by slander and lies...

Now it is simply pay back time, and Congress will make him uncomfortable with his veto pen.

You would think that by now he would have gotten the message the voters sent him. You would think that the best interest of the people would be to fall in line and help the country. But no, Obama will stay HIS course, and keep at his fundamental change he is hell bent on giving us. And we don't want any more of that.

Regards, Kirk

Obama is far from uncomfortable with his veto pen, he relishes the self created myth of using it as the sole defender of the middle class. The community organizer doesn't compromise, negotiations are a sign of weakness. All I WON knows to do when he doesn't get his way is to lash out.

The Right's narrative is in line with a majority of the public...

Now compare that to the narrative of the Left...
