Oh cool, a right-wing blogger takes something Obama noted from a letter written to Truman with Sang, acknowledges as "factually true" and then jumps into this evidence-free pool of ideologically slanted speculation. Is the "Obama's a socialist/communist/collectivist!" gruel running that thin?

Sigh smiley works, I don't like anger. Anger is a wasted emotion on the internet, disappointment is so much more subtle and versatile.

To be fair though, I'd be mad too I guess if I swallowed this kind of tripe on a constant basis. I can't wait for the next episode when Obama orders Chinese takeout, "Obama enjoys commie cuisine, honors Mao with a side of rice".

First we have Jane Fonda visiting Viet Nam and telling the world how crappy the US is. Then we have John Kerry visiting Viet Nam and telling the world how our servicemen were animals attacking, killing and raping everything in site and now we have Barrack Obama visiting Viet Nam and telling the world what a great leader Ho Chi Minh was in spite of the fact that he was a Communist dictator who committed genocide against his own people.

It's a cryin' shame that Rush Limbaugh says he's inspired by the Founding Fathers and get ripped apart by fellow Americans, but when the guy who crated the Vietnamese Communist Party says it in a letter in the hopes that America doesn't get involved in jumping into their war with France, the same Americans who gnash their teeth at Limbaugh give Ho Chi Minh the benefit of a doubt...

Charles Manson could come out and say he's for government healthcare, thinks abortion is all about choice, and writes a letter to Obama saying he's the best president this country has ever had...

...and Liberals would agree with every damn word of it...

Now would any of them come out and say "Hey! Sure he's a nutcase, but he made some really good points!!!!"...
