Greece provides an important object lesson for Obama's fundamentally transformed America. They have a massive welfare state bankrupted by politicians promising more and more benefits paid for by debt. It is the same formula Obama hopes to ride to a second term.

A-freakin-men!

Look at how the wording is structured.
The article title makes a positively absolute claim:
"Barack Obama asks eurozone to keep Greece in until after election day

Obama "ASKS" => it is something that has supposedly already happened.

And then the first sentence back-pedals on that claim.
The Obama administration will pressure European governments not to let Greece fall out of the eurozone before November's Presidential elections, British Government sources have suggested.
So, NOW the claim is that he WILL do something (as in he hasn't done it yet), but that the people making this claim are only SUGGESTING.
Not only that, but how much faith can you put into BRITISH government sources who are "suggesting" the AMERICAN government Obama will do something???

It's a freakin rumor!

It takes a lot of hutzpah to take INSINUATION that Obama COULD do something, claim it as fact in an article or thread.

Say wasn't the sainted Obama caught telling the Russians to hold off making demands until after the election? It sure was. It is undeniable the OA would like to postpone Greece's exit from the EU until after the election. A collapsing EU would play to Romney's expertise while exposing Obama's incompetence.

Haven't left mikeyy, just standing back and laughing at you guys on the left doing everything you can to divert the thread. You shoot the messenger but you can't refute what it said can you?

"shoot the messenger"?
ROFLMAO!
THere is no "messenger" to shoot!
NOBODY will own up to actually stating this.
It's a vague claim from "British Government sources" who have SUGGESTED something.
How can anybody "refute" something so ridiculously vague?

Anti-Obama hatred is so bad that the right doesn't even care what's credible anymore.

My response was to this. Pretty accurate too I might add

I have already given my opinion of Reid in another (actually topical) thread.

If you're trying to put this article on the same level as Harry Reid's recent actions, then we would actually be in agreement.
