That's because the reference here is to slavery, that's why he used the word "back" and was talking to what I assume is a heavily black audience. The comment was full on playing the race card. Essentially, he was telling people that this white guy was gonna make the blacks slaves again. But you and the rest of the Obama admin. apologizers here will dance around that and accuse us not understanding the nuance of his comments, not understanding the true brilliance of Biden and hating Obama, instead of looking at the comment with an open mind and understanding that it's a "race card" comment and nothing. Next, you'll launch into an attack on Romney and Ryan in order to try to divert the discussion away from Joe and his racist speech.
