Obama...The "just mailing it in" president...

Broken Record: Obama uses same excuse for poor jobs report over 30 times

The Romney camp has done a little digging in the White House archives and found a pretty redundant excuse for poor jobs reports.

Ok, so one bad jobs report doesn’t provide any context. How about 30? Can we start reading into it yet?

Of course he and his media fellaters will blame Bush.

If you still blame Bush for the country's problems you have to blame Clinton for the problems under Bush through at least the same period of time.

So... he's consistent?
If he used a different explanation each time he was asked about it, I assume you'd have a problem with that as well. I know I would.

Not really, We were losing 750,000 jobs a month when Bush left office. Now we are gaining jobs. That is a huge improvement especially when you consider the housing market that employed millions isn't back yet. What would you have Obama do about that? Cut taxes on people like Romney? That seems to be Romney's plan.

What are you complaining about? We are doing OK. We could and will be doing better. Housing is coming back. More people are getting full time jobs. You guys always dwell on the worst news. Hey 92% of Americans are employed. Doesn't that sound good. Next year if housing keeps getting better even more higher paying jobs will be coming back. Relax. Don't let cnredd bring you down. He has a bad habit of that. If you think increasing the debt to give people like Romney a tax cut is going to change anything much vote for him. But keep in mind that our normal unemployment is 5-6%. Right now it's 8.2%. Lets use a little perspective.

This is the most desperate attempt to create a controversy that I have seen in quiet some time. All of those links go to the same web site at different points in time where the people posting the statement all work for the Council of Economic Advisers. It's not really an excuse for anything, why would they need an excuse for a jobs report when that jobs report shows growth in the upward direction?.

I don't care if they repeat the same tired line until 2016 as long as the numbers go up and not down. Maybe if the Republicans in Congress would stop cheering for failure and hoping for disaster they could get on board with the rest and actually pass legislation to help improve the recovery. But that's too much to expect when they think they can win by sabotaging the economy.
