So you don't want to know if the President negotiated with these corporations?? You're completely OK with it?? You cry and whine about corporate influence and want it out of gov't, yet when there's an investigation into it that involves a Democrat, you suddenly change your tune. You don't care one bit about restoring integrity in our gov't you just wnat Dems. to win and get ahead. They could sell thier souls and you'd be cheerleading the whole way as long as it got them elected or got their bills passed. But change that "D" into an "R" and suddenly you're running for the pitchforks, torches and a "hangin' rope".

I thought he certainly negotiated with drug companies and insurance companies. I thought most people thought that.
Minus a Universal coverage or a single payer you have to at least go for demanding coverage of pre-existing and I figured the ins co's said ok we can handle it if there is a mandate because otherwise we can't fund that out of the people who are employer assisted and the few who have enough sense to know they will get sick or die someday.
Then I remember he said something about negotiating drug prices. So I do not see the big mystery or underhandedness here.

It's about finding out if the gov't promised the drug cos. something for supporting the healthcare bill. That's NOT LEGAL TO DO!!! You've gone on and on about getting rid of this kind of thing and now you're trying to justify it.
