Default Hello Everyone - XL Pipeline discussion

I just wanted to say hi to all the members. This is my first post. I was invited to join by AzMike as he and I both post on the ASFN P & R Board. I am very much a conservative when it comes to financial matters with more liberal views on some social issues. I am a big fan of Fox News, but I will ocassionaly tune to CNN as far as the TV goes. I get email news alerts from the Washington Post and MSNBC. Gotta keep up with the other side.

In regard to the XL pipeline, I heard a theory from Bob Beckel on The Five on Fox that I thought I would throw out for discussion. He said that Bill Clinton coming out in favor of the XL Pipeline today was a feeler for Barrack Obama (I always use the initials BO) to see how the liberal media would handle it. They are wanting to approve a go ahead to this project before the election so BO can take credit for it. It sounds logical.

Anyone else hear this?

**Pipeline. Since we have them over a barrel I say we get a contract that reads we get so much percentage of that final product. Then draw up a bill that lays out all the alternative energy going on the grid and let er rip? (let em build the PL)

Thanks cnredd. I hope Coyote hurries. I'm worse than a 6 year old with a sweet tooth when it comes to chocolate.

Thanks SC. I should have done a little research before starting this thread, but what can you expect from a newbie?

Absolutely we should build it. Increase the supply and create jobs. I just don't understand how anyone could be against it.
