Who defines the difference between opposite points of view and hating someone for their beliefs, religion or race? Hate speech is as vague a term as "hate crimes." Yet we have somehow accepted a forced decision to have such a term in our legal system.

What difference is it if you kill someone because of their politics, their race, their religion, or they fuhked your wife? Dead is dead and murder is simply wrong. There is no degree of it.

We seem comfortable with calling Jihadis a hate group, So the intentional programing of labeling White men in the same light is but a minor graduation of employing the term, hate. And, it is in a very close proximity to calling our nation's founders white supremist.

Oh wait, has that not already happened?
I believe the left has watered down the Hate Speech rhetoric so far that they want to call anything that hurts some ones feelings, Hate Speech.

What is really happening is, the PC culture that is pushing this, does NOT believe that THEY, promote hate speech in any way.

We had, what I call Hate Speech spewed 24/7 for over 4 years, but not one Democrat would ever see it that way.

The left needs to be able to differentiate between speech that can actually hurts others, and speech that just hurts the feelings of a few.

I personally have never been hurt by any words. Maybe I am unusual in that way, but I have never received a bruise or so much as a scratch from any words spoken in my vicinity.

If someone is saying something that I don't agree with, I can just choose to ignore them. If they insist upon making a scene, I can usually shut them up by presenting the facts to counter their ignorance and stupidity.

We were taught sticks and stones at a young age.

I'm not sure exactly how, or when, this phenomenon started. It must have started sometime before the PC culture. Could you imagine having safe spaces
when we were kids? If we went home and told our parents that someone said something that we didn't like, they would simply say, "Don't listen to them" or
"Ignore them"

But somewhere along the line parents started saying "Oh you poor baby, we will get an attorney and stop that from ever happening again"

In another generation or two, the people in this country will be so weak and fragile, they will gladly accept socialism and communism.

It would appear that is the plan.

To suggest the killing of a politician--of either party--is utterly repellent, in my opinion.

That said, it is probably not illegal unless it would appear to be taken seriously--by even one deranged individual--and therefore poses a real threat.

Note: The same standard should apply to the suggestion that a non-politician should be killed.

CPAC canceled the hell outta Young Pharoa
the kicker? their theme this year is: “America Uncanceled.”

guess they had to try to screw themselves out of being screwed. rofl

moral of the story: yes, Virginia, sometimes offensive speech should be canceled.

Who, pray tell, is "Young Pharoa"? (And should that be "Pharoah," with an "H" on the end? I ask because that is how the word is typically spelled.)

Perhaps their speech is truly offensive.

I am guessing, however--without really being familiar with "Young Pharoa[h]"--that is offensive toward the left.

And one may reasonably wonder: Would you be equally outraged at speech that is offensive toward the right?

Nothing the left says, is offensive to the left, especially when it is offensive to the right. Everything is offensive to the left, that comes from the right.

Does that make sense?

Young Pharaoh's name and links to his content were removed from the CPAC website. As stated, the focus of this year's CPAC was the rise of "political correctness" and the "cancel culture" it has seemed to espouse, mainly as it pertains to conservatives and their political views.
they say it's also for pizza gate yet they're still hangin onto Marj Greene.
go figure
