The 'sheep theory'... if you say it often enough, sheep may say if that many say it's so, then it must be so, I am better off where the people are many.

Then there is the rest of us, who think it through.

Fox News Poll: Record support for Trump impeachment

Just over half of voters want President Trump impeached and removed from office, according to a Fox News Poll released Wednesday.

A new high of 51 percent wants Trump impeached and removed from office, another 4 percent want him impeached but not removed, and 40 percent oppose impeachment altogether. In July, 42 percent favored impeachment and removal, while 5 percent said impeach but dont remove him, and 45 percent opposed impeachment.

I'm no big Trump fan but this poll doesn't smell right to me.
But maybe the MSM has ...after relentless BS RussiaGate and other daily gripes... finally bamboozled enough people to get them on board with the idea that impeachment somehow makes sense.

I'd like to think that more people are clear eyed enough to see through the very real MSM and Dem anti-Trump propaganda, but maybe not.

I'm not sure how honest folks can even stand to work at CNN & MSNBC anymore. And Dems like Schiff and Schomer have gone to the Hillary Clinton school of ballfaced lying. It's pitiful to watch. and frankly sad for our country.

As far as I can tell, nothing the MSM and Dems are accusing Trump of is worthy of impeachment... or more "investigations" .

The emotional outrage over the "facts" presented comes across to me like some irrationally pissed off wife's accusations against her husband.
"SEE... Seee...He LOOKED at our neighbors wife!!! And Told her that she looked great! I have video! Plus he NEVER CUT THE GRASS properly ... as a man should! So OF Course divorce is the CLEAR and ONLY solution!" And she looks at you like you're supposed to agree with her.
The only thing that's really clear is that she's done being rational about her husband or marriage laws.

Again, if the House Democrats thought that 51% of voters want Trump impeached and removed from office as this poll indicates they'd put the impeachment inquiry up for a floor vote.

IF Trump did something illegal, and they were actually using impeachment as the process is supposed to be used, that is one thing.

However, it is my opinion that they are using the word 'impeachment' as a tool, to allow them to go looking for the possibility that maybe, somewhere, something Trump did wasn't 100% above board. Even prior to his Presidency. That they are using it to try and persuade people of how awful Trump is, that he can't possibly be any good for this country if he is so criminal.

Now look back how long certain groups have been crying 'Impeachment!!" The time line doesn't work, the facts don't add up, and unfortunately, the DNC has stepped on it's own toes so frequently it has become something of a joke.

I am an independent. I vote based on the person, what they stand for, and how closely the represent what I feel is best for the country in the overall. I did NOT vote for Trump in 2016, I voted third party. But the DNC has become such a comedy, a vindictive bunch who can't seem to get past the idea that their grand plan to pushing this country into ideals I cannot agree with, that unless a candidate of unbelievable qualities steps forward, I will be voting for Trump. I will hold my nose while I do it, but the DNC is actually treading on what I believe to be very, very dangerous ground.

They have set new precedence of disregard for harassment, haranguing, vindictive, and opened the door for the future treatment of the POTUS position. If by some bizarre chance a Democrat should gain the WH, they will see what they have wrought... an angry, divisive nation.

At this point, I'm not sure the Democrats are interested in impeachment, but are more interested in keeping the issue alive for use a talking point and/or face time.

They've got, and have had, all they are ever going to get. Which is basically nothing.

It seems to me that with with no issues on their own they intend to run on the Trump worse than we thought, but that mean ol' Senate will not remove him from office, so you must vote him out platform.

Exactly. This is all about framing Trump and Republicans in a bad light in order to retain the House and possibly take the Senate. I think they believe if they have both houses of Congress, they can then get some of their agenda through regardless of who is President.

Unfortunately, we have a compliant MSM that will spew their rhetoric without any concern for the truth. Is it any wonder that with all of the MSM parroting DNC talking points and never giving the other side of the issues, that polls show Trump underwater? I'm surprised it isn't worse.

Trump frames everyone who doesn't kiss his ass in a bad light as often as possible for political gain...

But....

You didn't have enough snap to see that reality.....

Yes, you are totally biased.....

They really, really didn't.

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...nton-5491.html

At the end of the election season, Clinton was winning by 3.2 points in the aggregate, and ultimately won the popular vote by 2.1, very well within the margin of error.

In 2018, again, the averages were pretty spot on compared to the final results.

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/ep...vote-6185.html

Dems led at the end by 7.3, and won by 8.4.

Calling the polls biased or fake won't help.

Court Justice & I turned him down (hes been terrible ever since), Shep Smith, @donnabrazile (who gave Crooked Hillary the debate questions & got fired from @CNN), & others, @FoxNews doesnt deliver for US anymore. It is so different than it used to be. Oh well, Im President!"
I shouldn't have to tell anyone that he has received positive polling from Fox News in the past, he's just having his daily temper tantrum.
