FNC is the most popular network but from the perspective of media outlets it is an outlier. Take a look at the near universal acceptance of the NYT phony Kavanaugh sexual assault story released last weekend. The obvious fabrication by 2 NYT reporters to promote their book was breathlessly repeated as fact by the vast majority of the MSM. Kavanaugh's offense was that he is a proxy for Trump in the eyes of the media.

The casual labeling of the fact most of the media despises Donald Trump as the product of the so-called far Right doesn't stand up to examination. If FNC is the most popular cable news outlet, it is, then by definition it's mainstream.

As far as hate goes, in my experience, the rank and file Democrats that I know, and some that I'm related to, show far and away more hate for republicans, than any republican friends do for democrats.

They are generally more angry about politics, and are very quick to dissolve relationships over politics.

That's because the left basis their politics on emotional responses instead of logic. Therefore, when you disagree with them, you are not doing so because of reason but because you are a cruel, heartless person that is not worthy of forgiveness.

Conservatives generally have come to their positions by logic and reason and understand that some may not see it that way. That doesn't make them bad people, just either uninformed or incapable of separating their emotions from the their logical though process.

99% agreed...

The one caveat I have is that their "emotional responses" are due to their "emotional INVESTMENT" in the first place...

Every appointment, every decision, every policy...In their eyes, they are titanic and earthmoving in nature...THAT is why you see titanic and earthmoving responses...

Ask Conservatives how important an issue is, and you'll get a plethora of answers ranging from 1 to 10 on a scale from 1 to 10...Ask Liberals, and every answer will the Spinal Tap Amplifier 11...

That's why, when they win on an issue, it's rainbows and unicorns, and when they lose on an issue, it's the complete destruction of all mankind...

Yes, Obama was hated as often as possible on MSM FOX and on right wing radio...
I hated the leftist direction of the Obama administration.

But I really did not hate Barack Obama himself.

There is a difference.

Another (perceived) offense: Many believe that he might provide the fifth vote to overturn Roe v.Wade.

1000% agreed. Unfortunately, most of the pro-Obama people cannot separate the two, and therefore, you are also immediately racist, even if his race has diddly to do with anything.

Another bogus over simplification FOX News style point of view.....^

I didn't vote for Obama for his second term because I didn't think he deserved another after his first term and all his broken promises.....

The right likes to pretend that all criticism of Obama was labeled as racist, which is false....

Don't pander to the lowest common denominators in either party....

Well golly Gee, where did the right get the idea that their criticism of Obama was racist??? Maybe because the majority of Democrat politicians said it, and it was amplified everyday by the drive by media. Pretend??? You are pretending it didn't happen, are you not?

After the last almost 3 years of hearing that supporting Trump makes one a racist you still have the guts to say the reverse wasn't true for the previous 8?
