to even QUESTION a persons gender declaration is considered offensive but shaming others choice to wear jeans and declaring some arbitrary standard for Jean usage is OK?
I have wonder how does that work?
Sorry if this irked you, it was intended as light fluff and fun, as I am royally over hearing about this election.

The survey I believe was done in the UK. I would think there would be a whole different survey opinion here in the US.

I only wear black denims. Blue denims, especially ripped, are horrible, and even more so if they are on people over 40.

It is interesting how jeans are now considered more a fashion/status statement rather than just clothing or work clothes.

Back in the 70s when i was a kid Jeans had both the work and "cool" rebellious youth connotation.
And old adults ...of any size... wearing jeans only meant that they probably did manuel labor.
But it seems now that the jean and tee shirts are only considered a proper uniform for youth.

I did a quick search for Jean Overalls thinking i find some farmers and the like. But what i saw were hundreds of skinny girls with a leg up and hair flipped back.
I feel a bit like Rip Van Winkle on this Jeans thing.

I don't think there is an age limit on jeans. I dislike the ones people buy new that are already ripped, though. I think that's just stupid.

HA, Brooke Shields,
yeah ok, thats the 1980s so ok "a long time ago".

maybe it's where i lived the semi-rural south. and the working northern midwest.
plenty of good ol boys and gals huntin' and fishin' in jeans too.

the Calvin Klien-ish POV of Jeans was there along side of but not instead of the working' class.
An electrician, or a fat trucker in a jeans and jean jacket doesn't seem like a distant memory.

In my hood+(Nor Cal)jeans were called Levi's,AND... if you were caught wearing anything else you were called RUBE.

At least that was the case until Brittania Jeans entered the picture.

Hey I am 69 or 70 what-ever, and I find that my old Levis as well as my plain jeans work well for me.
Sure a bulge hangs over the belt some... But walking is all the exercise your going to get out of me.

And in my closet I have a lot of nice shirts yet I wear mostly my pocket tee colored shirts..

In winter I will put on a few of these nice shirts over the tee's.

And I grew up long ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!
