You did realize we are discussing the elected President not a commercial enterprise. Oh wait I forgot keeping secrets and making denials are standard operations for HRH Barack I.

The difference, Mikeyy, is that private non disclosure agreements generally do not extend to the owners of the firm. In the case of the government, the owners are the people, who have a right to know.

You obviously don't have a right to know everything the WH does or how they do it. If I am a new POTUS and want to hire someone I am sure I could ask them to sign a nondisclosure form as a condition of their employment. You would still have to tesitify in court or public hearing but you would have to wait until the end of the term to sell a book.

As a side note there is no Boston Legal in the poll.

Yep, that is EXACTLY what Mikeyy thinks.

Not ONCE did the phrase"Hey! ...Maybe he should wait until the administration is over!" ever come up...

...which isn't surprising...

When the thread starts with Mikeyy saying "Not because I have supported Obama...", you kinda knew what followed would be a heaping helping of Jersey cow pate...

And as to the question, "Should former members of an administration wait?" it's "f**k no!" for two reasons...

1) Read the Constitution...Start with amendment #1...

2) Instead of waiting two years where Panetta's words would make no difference, talking now can change the stupid ideology of this administration and have them rethink their illogic...It would be downright un-American for someone to say "I think I'll watch the president be a total f**k-up for the next two years and say nothing instead of coercing him into acting like an actual leader."...

Hey, thanks for this. You are very adept at revealing the hypocrisy. Kind of like Panetta.

I nominate this for: Best Post of the Day

If you were POTUS and hiring staff would you require one? I would.

Whats really telling is that had the b.o. administration been the transparent and honest administration that b.o. promised it would be, there would be nothing to write in the book.
