I get the feeling you like the smell of camels more than you should. Fond memories of a camel somewhere?

Hey, we had women on board my ship, you know. Not that I would know. They were protected by squads of Masters-at-Arms.

Because of physical stature and strength, yes. But for other standards they are the same. They are expected to shoot as well, operate machinery as well, parachute as well, etc.

No, expectations are lower for women. How can they be expected to perform the same when they're not held to the same standards? Women are set up for failure as soon as entering since they are not held to the same standards as men. It's absolutely asinine the way they coddle women and then bitch and moan that they don't or can't pull their weight. Women should be held to the same standards and expectations.

Where are expectations lower. As I said they may not have the strength and stature of a six foot six 250 lb male but I would like to know how and where the expectations for female soldiers are lower.

They aren't held to the same physical standards anywhere. They are trained separately and differently. For example, they don't have to do as many pushups, or pullups, or run as fast, or as far, etc, etc. If they aren't held to the same standards, they cannot have the same performance expectations.

Just like an ant's ability to lift fifty times its weight would work well also, eh?

Okay, let's get back to the prima donnas and their perceived right to take their religion into military uniform and readiness standards.

The reason the women are not asked to do as much as the men is most likely because of their generalised ability, not because they are getting away with an easier life in the military. I still believe it must have been worked out that way on some sort of scale. Probably a women going up to the maximum of what is required in the push-ups or running is just as exhausted as the male who has had to do more.
