In reality the D's fear Obama running against Mitt much more than they fear running against Gingrich. That's why Bill Clinton has been praising Gingrich,the D's want to run against Newt not Mittens. On one hand,they know Gingrich is a formidable opponent in a debate but he has so much baggage that they can attack! They fear Mitt because he looks presidential standing next to a man like Newt. The D's also fear that Americans don't care if a candidate is a flip-flopper or has no soul. Mitt could win and the D's know it and fear it.. I'm reasonably convinced that in the end, Mitt will get his parties nomination. Mitt is a smarter candidate when it comes to avoiding self praise. New't worst enemy is his mouth and unparalleled ego. When he stays on point,he can be brilliant but he likes himself too damn much and I no longer support him or Mittens. I'm leaning towards Ron Paul again.

In other words, they don't fear Newt because he's a man of substance and little image, while Mitt is a man of image and little substance...and the Dems are betting that the public will vote on image over substance again like they did in 2008...
