I don't know that I would call him president of the world, but the world loves him and the world loved the US when he was president. Yes, there are exceptions, but on the whole, that is true. Remember when Kim Jong Il said he would release those girls if Clinton would come get them? He was as giddy as a school girl. Kim didn't care about the girls, he just used them as pawns to meet his idol. If you need something done, send Bill. I think Chris Matthews has a special this month entitled, "Clinton, King of the world". Should be an interesting watch.

The right can't stand the fact that Bill Clinton is more popular than both Bush's put together.

Although I got my own issues with Slick Willie (ie, pardoning all those convicts in his last month of office,
signing into law that POS Phill Gramm's bill, etc.), I am just loving this right-wing hatred of anything Clinton.

They hate the fact he was a better President than Reagan.

Seems that everyone has forgotten a little thing called "Whitewater". Bill and his wife couldn't seem to remember anything about it when the trial took place, but yet they managed to write a book about it. How convenient!
