The Canadian multiculturalist approach of mollycoddling radical Islam will result in the place resembling the U.K. in the near future, and since radical Islam already has a foothold in Detroit/Dearborn and Minneapolis, I would be especially concerned with travel between these points and Canada.
I'm a Minuteman and I sometimes work on the vast Canadian border and waters. You would not believe how vast this teritory is,it's like finding a needle in a haystack!

It's the economy. I hope you realize that countries like China are loaning us the money to sponsor our debt. That's not a very good thing IMO....

Trying to bring it down to one issue requires mental gymnastics. So here is my short list. The national debt and what I believe to be an impending fed gov bankrupty and Great Depression is very high on my list, and only Ron Paul is speaking to this issue. Withdrawal from Iraq is extremely important. However, what is behind Iraq needs to be addressed, Republican neo cons in government. We need to purge these people from congress and the white house (I am not saying all Republicans). We need a full commitment to atlernative renewable energy and break the death grip on policies big coal and oil have on our decisions making process.

Actually, it is my belief GW Sr may have saved s from deep recession. He encouraged Greenspan to adjust the rates, but at a minute increment each time. This tedious practice kept us from tumbling one way or the other after the crazy Regan years.
And before the Clinton years.

For me the economy and immigration are in a dead tie for first place.

Gay rights comes in after both of those.

You can't please all the people all the time. You can't go to the store and run up a bill without paying it some day or face not having credit there again. You can't run a war and not raise taxes.

Well I think you all know what mine would be, abortion.

IMO abortion tells me what a persons worldview is and how he/she will vote on just about everything else. I want someone that values ALL LIFE, including life in the womb. I do not think a person can be honorable and be pro-abortion and IMO when there is a lack of honor in government, society is poisoned. Our society was built on honesty and integrity and for me they are very important. The political candidate I vote for must have integrity and morals. My second would be homeland security and protecting the borders.

I also am very concerned with the abortion issue and I have worked in the trenches for years trying to overturn RVW. I support taking this issue out of the hands of SCOTUS by passing a well written amendment. Difficult? indeed it is but not impossible.Other concerns have taken me out of the loop for now but the answer is in the hands of the states. Nothing would please me more than tying the hands of the SC on this issue.

I agree with everything you've said...

BUT!...

IMO, I would't put that as the nation's top priority...

Let me ask...

Someone is pro-life AND blames America for terrorism...against someone who is pro-choice, but fights against terrorism at every turn...

Which do you vote for...

I consider the latter much more important...

Yes and that's why I chose terrorism as my top priority!
