I thought all the pols (Bush and Obama and maybe Clinton)are always saying small business employ more people in this country.

They do, but I highly suspect that much of the federal tax revenues come from large corporations by way of employees. I don't know the stats, so I'm speaking from just a hunch on this one.

As for the tax code, we have a progressive taxation system.

Really annoying that people parrot that crap.
True, there are many choices. Obamacare, nothing, whatever kind of "reform" that republicans would want, and socialized healthcare just to name a few.

The reason we got Obamacare was because there is (and probably never will be) a consensus on what the citizens of this country want in terms of healthcare reform. There isn't even consensus within either party, let alone between the two parties. Obamacare was a crude compromise between republican reform, democrat reform, and a bunch of crap tossed in by special interest, therefore we ended up with a crap reform bill that virtually no one except a slim majority of congress could approve of.

After everything that's been PROVEN to you, you still don't get it. YOU CAN'T APPLY A SOLUTION THAT CAN'T WORK AND EXPECT SUCCESSFUL RESULTS!!!! Why is it that in spite of being shown that this will cause a shortage in healthcare providers, you still hold onto this fantasy?? The final idiocy of this kind of crap is that NO ONE in this country who needs healthcare goes without. There are so many gov't funded programs that will pay your medical bills if you can't afford them that it's stupid. If a helathcare provider has to write off a medical bill, the Fed. gov't repays them for it. It's a paperwork nightmare, so the providers avoid it like the plague, but it's still there. I know of several people who have had to have life-saving and friggin' expensive treatements that had their entire bill written off. The finances are there. What is missing is the healthcare providers and this kind of stupidity only spreads them even thinner.

Just wait ... reality is about to kick in in a BIG way. This is the time of year when companies re-do their life / health / dental / vision insurance for their employees and roll out a crappier plan than the one they had, replacing it with a 'new' plan that costs more and covers less. Wait 'til the employees see what's gonna be happenin' with their paychecks when they start seeing deductions for 'DeathCare' but don't get any of the 'benefits' until (maybe) 2014 ... it's the ultimate 'nothing for something' scam ... but there are tons of 'em who still drink the 'hope 'n change' Kool-AidŽ and will never see the reality of how we're losing the best medical and health care system in the world - even after it's too late.
