All of the post - it's very premise of cherry-picked half-truths. There's nothing in it that has enough connection to reality to even start with. It's a bunch of semantical lies and distortions.

I just hear a bunch of whining

what isn't true?

Landscaping is necessary and noble work, like community organizing.

But neither job entails executive responsibility, do they?

I'll just take two since doing most of them would be an excerise in futility...

This is the assertion that the author implies conservatives believe...

Quote:
Black teen pregnancies? A "crisis" in black America.

White teen pregnancies? A "blessed event."
But if one were to actually look at history, we'd see that this is NOT an assertion from conservatives...

But from Obama himself...

Quote:
I've got two daughters. 9 years old and 6 years old. I am going to teach them first of all about values and morals. But if they make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby.
Last I checked, Obama's kids are black...and "punished" sounds a helluva lot closer to "a crisis" than "a blessed event"...

Here's another...

Quote:
Similarly, if you name you kid Barack you're "unpatriotic. "
That's funny...Barack's father is Kenyan...not American...

Is the author saying that Barack's father is unpatriotic to the country of Kenya?...

This is what I have to look forward to: Less than 1/5 my current salary, but hey ... lower taxes!

Thanks but no thanks. Barack's brand of socialism is meant to ensure that we're all equally miserable.

Teen pregancies as a whole are a crises, regardless of race, but any individual pregancy is a blessed event. There's no dfference between the issue based on race, only on perspective.

What this little nugget is called is "race-baiting" and a false comparison.

Name your kid Track, you're "colorful."
I've never heard of anyone calling Sen. Obama's parents "unpatriotic" for naming him Barack and I've never heard that calling your kids by some kind of different names is either a positive or a negative.

Another false comparison.

The only people who think that Gov. Palin wasn't fully vetted are Dems. and I've heard of no one criticize Sen. Obama's process for vetting his VP choice.

Another false comparison.

If you spend 4 years on the city council and 6 years as the mayor of a town with less than 7,000 people, then spend 20 months as the governor of a state with 650,000 people, then you've got the most executive experience of anyone on either ticket, are the Commander in Chief of the Alaska military and are well qualified to lead the nation should you be called upon to do so because your state is the closest state to Russia.
Make sure that you leave out the single biggest qualifier for Gov. Palin's selection as VP - her reformist efforts. Then inflate Sen. Obama's accomplishments by making it look like he's got a lot of experience. Leave out the fact that he's never led anything outside of a college newspaper, leave out the fact that he's a pure conformist to his party, leaveout the fact that his judgement is questionable. Just focus on the good and ignore the bad for the Jr. Senator from Illinios (home of the most corrupt political machine in the country).
