The question is if she will be able to sway undecided voters and Hillary supporters. I don't think her ultra conservative views will be very appealing to Hillary supporters. As far as undecided voters, Biden has just as much of a chance of swaying them towards the Dem ticket. We'll see come November. I think it'll be very close.
I've been talking to women in the South where we are right now, and I was surprised to learn the Hillary McCain phenominon isn't a media hoax. There are ladies so ticked that Obama upsurped their candidate, that they are voting McCain. Also McCain and Hillary are more center than left leaning Obama and Biden.

In the south where Obama or Hillary wouldn't win either way regardless? Like Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee?

You can claim this doesn't matter if you want to. But Tennessee, Kentucky, Missouri and the Carolinas may have gone Democrat. The women were railroaded. Those are their words. I don't understand it. But I was never going to vote for Hillary anyway. And I don't uderstand (as a woman) how this meant so much to a lot of people.
What backgrounds these women have I don't know. But I think she really was a beackon to the "little woman" of this country. The waitress, nurse, mom, abused spouse. Ya know?
I found it facinating.

I wasn't trying to claim that it didn't matter. I just don't think that it's going to impact the outcome. The Obama campaign is changing the map. These women, who would have voted for Hillary were doing so for two reasons. Either A) They supported her policy and happened to like her as a candidate or B) They supported her and were less concerned with her policy. In general, the number of individuals who fell into B are relatively few and it's a small percentage of these voters who are flocking to McCain/Palin...

We "The Democrats" still have a chance at Missouri and North Carolina, but it looks like we'll win other states as well, changing the map a bit from the past 8 years.
