I don't think you could find anyone that can't have a negative attached to a current storyline...But if she wasn't picked and one of the other candidates were, you'd simply switch the negatives on Palin into "McCain picked another white-establishment guy" or "McCain picked another rich guy"... You can ALWAYS spin it to find what works best for one's personal platform... ![]() Quote:

Actually, no.
I started a new thread, realized somebody already beat me to it, then merged my comments/post. From a purely strategic stand-point, I would hope she wouldn't be so blatant. To some degree, I think people will recognize the "cracks in the ceiling" even if Palin never even makes a comment on them. But at the heart of the matter regarding the quote, I think it's very true for McCain's move. A new point in history will exist regardless of the election outcome. |

Are you completely blind?? The woman has experience, not a lot but she has it. She's been a leader and the decison maker in gov't circles, so ho wyou come to the incredibly dense conclusion that she has no experience is beyond me (other than your usual anti-anything conservative knee-jerk BS).

I'm quite sure that Palin being a woman was something considered. I don't think it was the only thing considered though... Why is it those who claim to be color/gender blind are always the ones most adamant about bringing up gender and color?
