Personal taste and opinion maybe? I think both songs reflect the mood of America and are an example of how political ideology is split in our society. I don't think they suck, I just feel that they are written from completely different mindsets.

I must admit I like Ludacris better, but I thought by the title the McCain song would go something like this (Think "The Night they Drove Ol Dixie Down)
John McCain is my name and I’m stuck on this here campaign Till all them Obamakids came and tore up the votes again Twas the fall of 2008; It was a night I remember Oh so well… ….The night we drove them Dems back down. With propaganda gliches we thought we might drown, but the grand old Party whooped that socialist clown… The night we drove them Dems back down....
