Outrage at what???
Where to begin.
Maybe first with the inaccurate claim of a "threat".
threat: An expression of an intention to inflict pain, injury, evil, or punishment.
There was NO INTENT on the part of Delahunt to inflict pain on another person.
There was NO REAL CAPABILITY for any RATIONAL person to see Delahunt actually doing this.
What we have here is the equivalent of Delahunt mocking Addington for believing that alligators are going to come jumping out of the closet to eat him...
And then Republicans labelling that as a "threat"...
Tell me. Did Addington fear for his life WHILE going being questioned, on the air, before Delahunt made his comment?
Was there ANYTHING that Delahunt ACTUALLY DID, or could CONCEIVABLY do, to increase the imagined danger to Addington based on Delahunt's potential or actual actions?
NO to both.
This is all about mocking Addington's bullsh!t excuse and crap reasoning, yet people like you are too mired in wanting to spin anything anti-democrat to see it.
Did ANY Republican actually say, BEFORE Delahunt's comment, that Addington's life would be in danger by being present?
NO.
Delahunt ACCURATELY called Addington on his b.s. excuse, and the right-wing punditry immediately jump to claims of "threat", demonstrating they haven't the first clue what the word actually means...
