An alert reader wrote in just a little while ago to let us know about something he'd spotted on Fox News Wednesday afternoon. During a segment discussing conservative attacks against Michelle Obama, the wife of presumptive Democratic nominee Barack Obama, the network described the former as "Obama's baby mama."Fox News Calls Michelle "Obama's Baby Mama"... FOX: Producer Used Poor Judgment - Media on The Huffington Post ![]() ![]() Fox "News". Sinking to new lows in political mud-slinging... ![]() Anybody in the class want to tell me why the country is increasingly fed up with the Republican party and voting them out in elections that should have been a slam-dunk for Republicans? Anybody in the class want to tell me where our "moral values" are going to when it's evidently perfectly okay for Ann Coulter to call people "fag", and Fox News denigrates a marriage with a racial slur? No wonder people want change. |

One, just like some "Republican" pundits have said, the Republican brand is toxic. Someone said if "Republicanism" were "dog food", it wouldn't be stocked on store shelves.(paraphrased) Two, a segment of the population would rather consume Draino, than to have a "black " president. Some people are unwilling to give up their cushy positions, status, their "licks", or share power...and they will fight "tooth and nail", in order to preserve the status quo.... I don't want any news organization "in bed" with government. How'd that happen, because surely, the Bush administration has been in bed with the media from day one....they let him and his cronies get away with worse than murder. How'd that happen? Hell, the Republican Party never held Bush to accountability...they gave him free rein (and reign), which led to the leaking of classified documentation for political reasons and gain, and character assassinations and indictments of "anti-Americanism" for opponents of the war. Where'd the common sense go? Well it went the way of the dodo....it's practically non-existent. Now, anything goes. Anything. Nothing surprises anymore..that's the depth of the lows...and what's baffling is there is no condemnation, really. No shame for unspeakable acts. It's The Twilight Zone. |

What a repugnant excuse.
The transcript's EXACT quote is: "MICHELLE OBAMA, WIFE OF BARACK OBAMA: My baby's daddy Barack Obama. Yeah!" "Baby Mama" is a specific phrase with a specific meaning that is in no way similar to what Michelle said in that quote. baby mamaUrban Dictionary: baby mama And does anybody seriously think that Fox "innocently" took a quote from Michelle, and with sincere respect just used a slang modification of what Michelle said??? ![]() These people should at least have the cajones to admit they are being disrespectful. And people want to criticize presidential candidates for not appearing on Fox??? I think it's just a matter of good taste. |

Remember, the tagline doesn't JUST say "Obama's Baby Mama"...It says "Outraged Liberals: Stop Picking On Obama's Baby Mama"...That comes across to me that they have source and they're quoting "outraged liberals" who actually said that... So DID someone actually say that?...Fox would've been a lot wiser to show that someone did if it's true...

It is despicable and I only say that because I can't think of a stronger word Quote:
I bet people in Abu Dhabi know what the hell it means. It means "she a ho". How 'bout we type some letters underneath Barbara Bush's story/picture like the one under the fox "report"? I happen to have a great respect for Barbara Bush. But that person who- for whatever reason- put this phrase beneath a potential First Lady's name or story would have been sought out with deftness that would cut like a scimitar through the air and found and summarily dismissed. Everyone would think such a person loony at best. I do not intend to vote for Obama. He holds views I cannot abide and I think someone else would be better for the country and my personal view of things. But this is why in recent years I have never gone full blown Republican, and as long as that party upholds this kind of crup, I never will.
