He's doing a little better - this is a week and two days on the high dose of pred and I'm starting to see a little improvement Tomorrow we see the physical therapist again, fingers crossed that she sees the same improvement I do and he's on the way up! His attitude is certainly good my (untrained) husband puts dishes down on the floor for the dogs to clean up, and godamnit, Cowboy may be falling all over the place but he will bulldoze his way to the front of the line and take that bowl!

A bit of an update - and pretty good too

He's not walking well, but he can walk with assistance and he has no pain which is wonderful - he's off the pred now and we decided for quality-of-life to get him a cart. His attitude is great and his front end is strong. This evening he was fitted and took to it like a duck in water - so happy to have mobility!!!! The marvelous thing about it is that he still can use his legs so he is stepping as much has he can.

Cowboy has a fan club...I took him to a local elementary school where there is a wonderful paved path that meanders between wooded plantings and a cornfield - so, perfect surface to start Cowboy on and build him up. Then Cowboy saw the kids....'nuff said
