omg, she is so adorable. She's SOOO lovey and cuddly. And she's at that awkward puppy stage where her feet are too big so she stumbles around and trips over her own feet. She's such a big fraidy cat too, it's hilarious. She tries to play with my dogs and my one big dog, Caine, will play with her now but he likes to bark when he plays. That scares her, so they romp and play, then he barks, she runs to me, I speak some encouraging words and then she's off romping with him again. LOL
But, she's a puppy. A very, VERY energetic, clumsy, non-housetrained puppy. I don't think I could give her enough attention long term since I'm gone all day. Right now, I have to keep her locked up in the master bath while I'm gone so as to contain the poo and pee, and to keep her from running outside.

Well...we have a new member of our family now. Baxter, after a brief employment stint as the dog-tester at the Monongalia County Canine Adoption Unit, has taken us up on an offer to move in and manage our dogs.
![]() Who controls the space...hmmm? My vote is with Baxter.

My daughter who lives overseas now used to give me so much trouble as a child and a teen, nagging for a dog. Now she has an apartment of her own she finally has one, and here he is ready for his walk. He is so cute, so good, but nervous of other dogs and won't leave her side and play with the other dogs in the dog enclosure. When I chat to her on Skype it is so lovely to see him on her lap. When she flies over here in her next vacation she is bringing him too. ![]() |

I had four doggie visitors this weekend. I finally just opened my back door, put down food and water on the porch and gave lovin' and attention to any dog that wandered in. I dunno what it is, but the doggies around here seem to love me and my dogs.
This is one visitor I had. He spent the night. I think he spent the night mainly because he could get IN the doggie door but not back out again due to the back deck/porch being a little lower than my kitchen floor (thus allowing him clearance on the way in). Going out would mean crouching down a bit. It was storming all night, so I didn't fuss with forcing him out. I just went to bed. ![]() And this little gal (the black one) is Frogger's new girlfriend he brought home. (Frogger is the brown one) She must be in heat right now because those two were humping all day long. He's fixed, but I don't guess she is. She's a little taller than him, which meant he really couldn't manage to DO anything but buddy he gave it the ole college try for several hours. She kept turning the tables on him and flipping around to hump him too, so funny. In this pic, I'm pretty sure he's "done" now due to the way he's scooted so far away from her and the look on his face just reads, "Is this bitch ever going to leave?" She didn't. Not for some time. ![]()
