Default Juan Williams on the inauguration speech

When Juan Williams, of Fox News, gushed earlier that the inauguration speech of Joe Biden was the finest he had ever heard, it was more than mere hyperbole; more to the point, it made me wonder if we had listened to the same thing.

I heard a speech that was filled with boilerplate and platitudes (as well as some thinly veiled snubs at the outgoing president).

Did anyone else hear the speech that Juan Williams purports to have heard?

Biden's speech was spot on and great.....

It wasn't a hate filled lie to only democrat voters, it was a speech for all Americans....

It's exactly what he was voted in for.....

the speech was good. a little long. it hit all the points we want it to. I remember thinking no one's mentioning Trump, so no I guess I didn't hear any snubs veiled or otherwise.
there might be tonight, I don't know if there will be, but Tom Hanks is throwing a celebration of America at 8:30 on all the regular channels.
though I hope they follow Joe's advice from his speech and unify and heal.

I went on foxnews for a bit to listen to their take. after the special report, there were guests and some of them expressed the same view. I would propose that these are talking points (since so many on different show say the same things) and that foxnews gigs Republicans with the old, "see that guy at the end of the bar? Ain't he the one who called your sister's step-niece a geek two years ago?!" Then after you get thrown in jail for fighting he says, "oh I guess I was wrong; sure did look like him though".

Is it really possible to "unify and heal" if there is no common understanding as to the goal that we should wish to achieve?

The Democratic left--and the far-left base of the party--is pushing Joe Biden to adopt its policies; and wishes to achieve goals that the Republican Party simply does not wish to embrace.

Is that really difficult to understand?

he's working on covid-19 day one.
mitch and chuck aren't arguing policy today. you know what they were arguing? procedure. so give the administration a break and quit listening to the devil (laura and company or chuck whomever and co.) whispering in your left ear.

Best speech ever!!!! says the media, with stuff written last week and put in a filing cabinet, waiting to be made public irrelevant of what Biden actually said...

Welcome to A-Democrat-is-president-world...Just as with Obama, we're gonna see the usual suspects put on their kneepads and go to town....Republicans are Hitler, and Democrats are to be worshipped....There IS no middle...

Juan Williams will NEVER denigrate or fail to worship anything a Democrat says or does. He is a die in the wool partisan idiot that would praise Hitler or the Devil himself if they had a D next to their name. If you wish to know Juan Williams take on something, just sign up for the DNC talking points as that is all he knows.

And now he is not alone on Fox. Apparently Chris Wallace (famous for teaming up with Joe Biden take on Trump in the first Presidential debate) said essentially the same thing. Fox is slowly be surely allowing the left to play a bigger role in their coverage and doing the best they can to drown out any differing voices.

He issued a plethora of executive orders on Day One of his presidency; and most had nothing whatsoever to do with Covid-19.

He is apparently obsessed with former President Trump--and attempting to undo as much of his legacy as possible.

Oh, you mean like Donald Trump was given a break in 2017--and for the entire four years of his presidency?

That sounds fair enough...
