Default 6 winners and 3 losers from CNNís climate town hall

Last Wednesday CNN staged a massive 7 hour campaign event for 10 Democrat nomination candidates. Each candidate was given 40 minutes before a live studio audience to answer softball questions from a carefully selected group of climate change activists assisted by CNN's of loyalist Democrat reporters. No candidate was troubled by having to answer a question disputing the "scientific consensus" of a climate crisis or even mundane considerations like where to situate the massive solar arrays and bird Cuisinart wind turbines required by the shift to green energy.

They lack of any opposition to climate change orthodoxy didn't stop Democrat propaganda media outlets like Vox from shilling for the staged townhall.

Quote:
CNNís climate crisis town hall on Wednesday night was an unprecedented seven hours of discussion on climate change with 10 of the Democratic 2020 presidential contenders. It was also the most substantive discussion of climate change policies ever broadcast on primetime television.
Got that? A rigged townhall where no one questioned the underlying premise of policies so radical they would very likely send the US economy into another great Depression while radically reshaping the lives of us commoners into subsistence living ruled by an omnipresent Federal government is substantive discussion.

In an all too familiar pattern so-called victims of climate change were brought forth to serve as human shields for questions designed to push the candidates to even more radical postures to deal with the alleged problem.

Quote:
My husband and I own our one and only 2,000-square-foot house, which is in the 500-year floodplain,Ē said retired middle school teacher Emily Wilkins to former Housing and Urban Development Secretary JuliŠn Castro. ďWe are required to carry FEMA flood insurance, but it rises in cost 18 percent every year. We may lose our house at some point when we can no longer afford the insurance. What proposals of yours would help us stay in our home?Ē

Disability and LGBTQ rights activist Carson Tueller pressed Sen. Kamala Harris on how she would address the impacts of climate change on marginalized people, drawing on his personal struggles during this summerís heat wave. ďI have a spinal cord injury, and part of having a spinal cord injury means I experience something called thermodysregulation. I canít regulate my body temperature. I canít sweat. July of 2019 was our Earthís hottest month on record,Ē he said. ďAnd I had my health put at risk seriously more than once.Ē
Of course it doesn't matter that none of the policy proposals would "slow the rise of the oceans waters" as President Obama promised when he won the nomination or that greater population density in flood prone areas leads to costlier insurance claims not climate change we all ought to give up our cars and renounce eating meat because an accident victim can't sweat. Anyone questioning these claims is deemed cruel to the victims.

The Democrat orthodoxy is to have the Federal government dictate your healthcare, energy consumption and diet in the name of saving the planet. Not so different from the Chinese government's rule. Media cheerleaders like Vox promote this march to totalitarian rule without reservation.

What happens when you promote an unprecented blockbuster rigged discussion.

That's a rolling average. No one stayed awake for all seven hours.

BTW. I addressed flood plain over 25,000 times in my appraisal career. You are not required to purchase FEMA insurance in a 500 year flood plain.

I bet the 5 people that watched it were bored to tears.

Actually sounds like there are a minimum of 360 million losers.

somewhere along the way Bernie sanders was asked
MARTHA: Good evening. Human population growth has more than doubled in the past 50 years. The planet cannot sustain this growth. I realize this is a poisonous topic for politicians, but it’s crucial to face. Empowering women and educating everyone on the need to curb population growth seems a reasonable campaign to enact. Would you be courageous enough to discuss this issue and make it a key feature of a plan to address climate catastrophe?

SANDERS: Well, Martha, the answer is yes. And the answer has everything to do with the fact that women in the United States of America, by the way, have a right to control their own bodies and make reproductive decisions.
And the Mexico City agreement, which denies American aid to those organizations around the world that are — that allow women to have abortions or even get involved in birth control, to me is totally absurd. So I think, especially in poor countries around the world where women do not necessarily want to have large numbers of babies, and where they can have the opportunity through birth control to control the number of kids they have, it’s something I very, very strongly support.
So in his mind population control via abortion is a necessary part of climate change policy.
grrrreat.
amazing how some many of these bad idea all string together.
String together in a chain of death policies.

Don't forget Bernie is targeting black and brown mothers and children in poor countries. It's classic Margaret Sanger Eugenics.

ya know, I think in Bernie's case it's because the Mexicans and poor countries aren't aborting as fast that the Americans with all our "rights" to kill babies and such.
Margaret Sanger wanted the poor, the lesser races, the "imbeciles" (of all races) aborted and sterilized.
I've got a feeling that, as a Jew, Sanders isn't quite that far down the road.
even though his policy plans have the same effect.

Sanders specifically targets women in poor countries with large families that's not predominantly white countries, that is black and brown people. Giving him a pass for this racist policy because he is Jewish would reflect the same senseless loyalty driving Jews to vote Democrat despite the ascendancy of the Squad.

While Sanger wanted the inferior members of all races banned from reproducing she targeted blacks as inferior by virtue of ethnicity. She was proud of her speeches to the KKK and they met a warm reception at Klan gatherings. She actively recruited black members of the clergy to promote her so-called family planning to their flock. She made her intent clear in a letter.
Quote:
We donít want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population..."
-- Letter to Dr. Clarence J. Gamble, December 10, 1939
Neither of us knows if Sanders shares Sanger's enthusiasm for extermination of inferior races but the target of their birth control regimes is identical.

I'm not "giving him a pass" just because he's Jewish. I think he's sincerely sensitive to idea of targeting racial groups because of his family's and cultural memory of the holocaust. his father's family was killed by Hitler.
Could he be someone who doesn't really care about that and wants to target racial groups for abortion. a full blown racist eugenicist.
maybe. But somehow i don't think so.
But IMO Sanders, like a lot of pro-abortion people, has been self-deluded into thinking that abortion is doing people "women" a favor.... and helps to mitigate "climate change". Or at the very least he thinks abortions' not bad and believes that promoting it world wide will get him votes.

Can you think of anyone since the 20th century began who's been the fountainhead of more death? the followers of Hitler Mao and Stalin mainly stopped their killing after they died. Sangers followers still kill millions every year.

mmm I Seriously doubt that Bernie "shares Sanger's enthusiasm for extermination of inferior races"... but Sanders is promoting the same pogroms to the same effect.

3 of those 5 were reporters who were required to watch it by their bosses.

CNN finished last in all time slots during the entire 7 hours.

But then there's this:

At the end of their event, CNN host Don Lemon announced the network will be hosting another town hall with the Human Rights Campaign Foundation to focus "on issues that are important to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer community."

From the article I posted.

There goes those 5 viewers. CNN can't even learn from their mistakes.
