Default Democrats that I respect

I have a family friend in Iowa that is a very liberal Democrat, and I respect her and her husband more than anyone.

They believe in helping the planet. They only have one car, but they mostly ride bicycles. They compost, they grow food, and they make the environment better by doing the right thing. And like me, they have been recycling for decades. They also don't complain and blame others for not doing enough.
They are setting an example, not trying to force anything on others

When their kids were infants they even used cloth diapers. How many climate change democrats can say they did that?

You see, I have a BIG problem with people that try to force others to do what they WILL NOT do.

I believe that 99.999% of democrats are phony's and frauds. They complain about the poor immigrant children and families, but none of them open their homes or their wallets to help, they just want Government and tax payers to be forced to help.

How many bleeding heart Celebrities that constantly complain about social issues are out their disposing of petroleum products and giving up travel to save the planet? Feeding the homeless? Helping immigrants?

How many bleeding hearts are actually helping the homeless? working the soup kitchens? Spending their own money to help their causes that they feel so strongly about?

I know people that ARE doing those things, but most of them are Christians and Conservatives.

Moral of the story: If your not going to pitch in to help your causes, then STFU!

I recycle and I, also, used cloth diaper and had to take them to the flipping laundromat as I didn't have a washer and dryer then.

I've known liberal women who told me they couldn't use cloth diapers because the Day Care Center where they took their kids insisted on disposables.

I used cloth diapers with my eldest child, disposables with the youngest child.
It takes an awful lot of chemicals to get those cloth diapers sterile for the next use. It really is 50% of one and half a dozen of the other when talking about cloth vs disposable diapers.

Cloth diapers are the best when shining your army boots though.

As for respecting Democrats, I used to respect John McCain.

I've not yet met a Democrat that I find worthy of my respect. I may respect the position they hold and will show them respect for that office or position, but their actions and/or votes often give me reason to not respect them personally.

I respect any one that walks the walk, and sets an example for what they believe.

I guess more than anything, I disrespect and abhor the Democrats that try to force tax payers and government to embrace their cause, when they do absolutely nothing for their cause other than tap on their keyboard.

None of them walk the walk, practice what they preach, or set examples. But they still think they are righteous do-gooders, when in reality they are just worthless trolls.
