I know Obama gave a $1 million earmark to the same hospital that employed his wife...

Coincidentally, her salary tripled the year Obama was elected Senator and 1 year before the earmark request...

And the king against earmarks is discovered to not be as great as he claims...

And this is just from 109th Congress...
There are only a few here that Obama actually did something on...Most of them had his name ATTACHED to them (A time honored tradition among Senators to give the rookies some cred or others for publicity)...

Here's an example...

Quote:
Condemning Hezbollah and Hamas and their state sponsors and supporting Israel's exercise of its right to self-defense.

IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES
July 18, 2006

Mr. FRIST (for himself, Mr. REID, Mr. BIDEN, Mr. SANTORUM, Mr. NELSON of Florida, Mr. KYL, Mr. BOND, Mrs. HUTCHISON, Mr. LEVIN, Mrs. DOLE, Mr. GRASSLEY, Mr. BUNNING, Mr. SMITH, Mr. TALENT, Mr. ROBERTS, Mr. VITTER, Mr. CORNYN, Mr. VOINOVICH, Mr. ALLEN, Mr. COLEMAN, Mr. MCCONNELL, Mr. BROWNBACK, Mr. AKAKA, Mr. BAUCUS, Mr. BAYH, Mr. BINGAMAN, Mrs. BOXER, Ms. CANTWELL, Mr. CARPER, Mrs. CLINTON, Mr. CONRAD, Mr. DAYTON, Mr. DODD, Mr. DORGAN, Mr. DURBIN, Mr. FEINGOLD, Mrs. FEINSTEIN, Mr. HARKIN, Mr. INOUYE, Mr. JOHNSON, Mr. KENNEDY, Mr. KERRY, Mr. KOHL, Ms. LANDRIEU, Mr. LAUTENBERG, Mr. LEAHY, Mr. LIEBERMAN, Mrs. LINCOLN, Mr. MENENDEZ, Ms. MIKULSKI, Mrs. MURRAY, Mr. NELSON of Nebraska, Mr. OBAMA, Mr. PRYOR, Mr. REED, Mr. ROCKEFELLER, Mr. SALAZAR, Mr. SARBANES, Mr. SCHUMER, Ms. STABENOW, Mr. WYDEN, and Mr. MCCAIN) submitted the following resolution; which was considered and agreed to:
That's 62 Senators...Do you honestly think 62 Senators gathered around a table so they can pound this puppy out?...Of course not...

It's written up by 1 or 2 Senators, then everyone hops on for the ride...

If you were to remove his name from the ones he didn't work on (or did a bit part where he did little), that list gets ripped down to a few...

And if you look at the ones that he proposed by himself, you'll see that they are mostly AMENDMENTS to legislation already in existance...

You are making ASSUMPTIONS without providing any information. Mr. Obama's name is attached to the legislation. This means he had some part in it. I'm not professing to the extend. There are amendments and bills proposed by the Senator as well. You haven't mentioned anything about their significance, your just trying to belittle the work as a whole. Typical for a man without the facts.
