John Adams was justified in his concern regarding the power of party politics. They place their parties interests above the interests of their constituents and then try to bribe them with their own money! The voters see this yet refuse to vote for anyone who does not belong to the big box machine for fear of wasting their vote.Expect "real" change when Americans are willing to vote for a candidate out of principle aside from party affiliation. That kind of change will take decades but it can happen by stepping outside of the partisan trap.Sadly..the two party system is now so well established I see little hope for real change.

Albert Einstein once said “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”.
Thats not what he told me.

He also said.."Never do anything against conscience even if the state demands it"..Einstein.

However..what's applicable to this topic - “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results”.Have the D's and the R's served us well on the issue of immigration or did they place their own interests above their constituents? I think we all know the answer, survival of their party and their self serving interests will always come first..
