Reagan Drove the debt to triple what it was when he took office and left a huge Deficit for Bush Sr.

Bush Sr. Doubled the debt and also left Huge deficits for Clinton to clean up..

Clinton Balanced the Budget for 4 consecutive years and turned over a balanced budget and a Huge Surplus.

Bush Jr. Blew through the Surplus in his first year and increased spending to unheard of levels and wasted the balanced budgets he inherited. He left office with a 1.4 trillion dollar deficit.

Obama inherited a massive budget and a 1.4 trillion dollar deficit and has been roadblocked by ignorant republicans in Congress from implementing his full policy which would eventually balance the budget and erase the deficit.

I don't give a flying **** what political party some politician decides to associate with. Tell me specifically what programs, policies, laws, etc led to a better economy and HOW, or your information is completely useless.

Most economists who were critical of the stimulus, financial reform, and health care bills thought they didn't go far enough in a survey of top independent, rep and dem economists (read last three paragraphs for that info) The economy: Asking the experts | The Economist

Over all they give him better marks for appointments to federal reserve and how he would handle China.

I bet you didn't think anyone would notice how you mention "debt" for the first two presidents, but then SWITCH from "debt" to "deficit" when mentioning the third president...

In REALITY, Clinton added over a trillion dollars to the DEBT...The budget surpluses did NOT make up for the spending that was done previously under Clinton...

Oh really? 44 months of unemployment over 8% before announcing a decrease without the data from California, record number of Americans and illegals on food stamps, a rising poverty rate, high gas prices, a stagnant GDP, a frozen credit markets and staggering national debt. That's "improving" how?

Well since you brought it up I guess I can finish the point.

Yes Clinton added a trillion dollars to the debt, however he balanced the budget so the debt wasn't dragging the economy down. If left alone the budget surpluses would have completely paid off our debt in the year 2010... but that was before Bush decided to put spending in over drive. Clinton adding a trillion was small considering he also balanced the budget and had a ten year plan to pay off that trillion plus the trillions that Bush Sr. left .

Love the Willard talking point of using 44 months without adding the facts. That 44 months started under the Bush administration when Unemployment was just over 10%. We have since had 33 months of stead jobs growth... but Republicans don't like to use that statistic because it doesn't sound as scary...

More Americans on food stamps because Bush gutted the economy and drove people onto food stamps. You extremists act like Obama was supposed to just wave his magic wand and fix the economy over night.. hell it took us 10 years to recover from the great Depression .

Poverty rate was rising when Bush left office and left no means for the new administration to stop the poverty rate from climbing.

The Government doesn't drive gas prices, how about we stop trying to blame everything on Obama...

Yep, a staggering national debt that Your boy Willard wants to add 7 trillion dollars to and you have the gall to say Obama would be bad for the economy. Most of that debt can be laid at the feet of the Bush administration. Because of his failed policy the balanced budget and the projected payment of that debt was wasted and instead we got more than double the debt and the biggest deficit in history...
