Default Dejavu.............

I have been having the strangest feeling that I have seen this presidential campaign some where before. I know that I lived through it, but I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Then this morning in the morning paper, there it was, a picture of former governor Granholm of Michigan.

Jennifer Granholm was governor for 8 years in Michigan, and she was the worst governor of all time. The state was teetering on the brink of disaster when she was elected and went downhill after she took office. (Michigan's depression started long before the country started their recession.)

She raised taxes and fees on everybody and everything. Her ideas were right out of the Karl Marx handbook. She touted green energy along with demonizing gas and coal production. She even vilified her predecessor John Engler a republican for what was happening to the state.

Things couldn't get worse I thought, but then came her reelection. Her whole campaign was run on the premise that the former republican governor was to blame, not her for the dismal state we were in. She hammered the theme and said she didn't realize how bad things were when she took office.

She was down in the polls, her favorable rating hovered below the 50% mark. But, she won reelection and then continued to blame the former governor for all that was wrong with the state.

Obama has taken Jennifer Granholms play book and nationalized it, and I'm afraid there are enough gullible people out there that will vote for this buffoon again.

In 2008 when obama was running for office many conservatives here in Michigan warned, "If you like what Granholm did for the state of Michigan, you'll love what obama will do to the country." That bit of prophecy has now come true.

In order for Romney to win he must give conservatives a reason to vote for him. He must have a winning strategy in order to beat obama. He can not win if he campaigns on notion that he isn't obama, that isn't good enough. He must come out with a bold plan for turning this country around. And, he must be willing to work with both sides of the aisle in order to achieve success, something obama has never done.

Please Willard, give us a better reason to vote for you than just being the lesser of two evils.

High unemployment, zero growth economy, Obamacare. Yeah no reasons at all.

Unemployment is down compared to what he started with...

Growth is going up , although it's slow , it's still growth... and much better than the alternative...

Obamacare is not a problem for about half the country... not a reason to vote for Willard though ....

It's sad how the "Party of No" is blaming Obama for them blocking everything and after he compromises with them they still blame his policies.

I have yet seen a candidate that did not possess at least one positive quality. Anyone that claims otherwise is simply stuck in their own partisan world.

While I would never in a million years vote for Romney, it is dishonest to claim he has zero positive traits regarding his candidacy for presidency. That is simply the Democrat in you talking.

Same boat. I very much want to give Obama another term, but just cannot convince myself he has deserved it. Too many mistakes in my book.
