Default President Obama attempts to pressure SCOTUS

President Obama, once again, is attempting to pressure the Supreme Court to uphold ObamaCare.

From Breitbart.com:

"The Obama administration warned the Supreme Court this week via papers filed with the Court that if Obamacare is struck down, there will be an 'extraordinary disruption' in Medicare. Medicare was not discussed during the Supreme Court arguments, since it was not a Constitutional issue. This is a practical argument, not a legal one; it's the Obama administration applying pressure to the Supremes.

"But that's what the Obama administration does – they focus on the politics of the situation rather than on the legalities. If they can't win on the law, they figure, they'll push the Court to act via 'empathy,' President Obama’s favorite legal standard. And if they lose, they'll blame the Court for destroying Medicare."

Yes, the same Medicare for which they applied that $500 billion twice, as if the same dollars could (somehow) be used in two different manners, simultaneusly...

Well that was predictable. If you're going to go against the Constitution you need the people to get nervous about losing their benefits then pressure the Scotus to ignore it. The problem for Obama is 70% want the law gone and an equal number of justices don't like it either.

I don't think I will trust a piece by BSbart.com. Thanks for playing though. My show the papers filed rather then a blog by your leaders site.

Big Pharma already rolled over for Obamacare in return for a fixed tax increase they get unlimited price increases. AARP generates 60% of their revenue from selling Medigap insurance. They backed Obamacare because it eliminated competition for their medigap polices and gave them a one of a kind exemption from the cap on expensing pay for top executives like their $1 million a year CEO. Obamacare helped keep the CEO in the 1%. Hurray!

Right and that should make you happy, so they have a vested interest in seeing it pass as do the insurance companies.
I think UHC would be the cheapest way to go. I hope eventually that's what we end up with.

Rather instructively, you have not attempted to refute any of the points made.

You have merely dismissed the source, quite cavalierly...

I told you to post the actual document. Not some right wing spin.
