Default Foreign Dependence; or Domestic Economic Stimulus?

Right on the Mark: Foreign Dependence; or Domestic Economic Stimulus?

The recent contract awarded to AirBus for U.S. military refueling planes comes with many questions. Why would we put more dependency on a foreign company at this time? What does this do to the American economy? Why did we move away from Boeing; an American company with military contracts since the Eisenhower era? Does this put to rest the notion of no-bid contracts? There are probably more questions, but probably none more important than the one about our economy at this point...

It's nice that you clicked the link & read the rest of the article. Or, did any sort of research before making an ignorant comment.
How about 25,000 jobs at suppliers from across the nation? One such supplier will be General Electric with facilities in Ohio & North Carolina. Oh, by the way, GE is unionized. Oh yeah, even some of Northrop Grumman's facilities are unionized as well. So much for a bunch of destitute laborers working in foreign sweat shops.

Plus with the final assembly planned for a Mobile, Alabama plant I guess there are some perks of living in a right to work state --- employment.
