The best logic is to keep Independents in your camp not to turn them away. Obama is pretending to be a moderate? He has the most liberal voting record in the senate. It's all over the internet, even the politically unwashed are aware of his record. I think it's better to rise above the cheap shots and attack Obama's record and while your at it take a close look at McCain's history! There's plenty out there to attack on all sides without having to wallow in the gutter.

People have been predicting the demise of democracy, individual freedom and liberty, as well as resulting American supremacy, since the day American democracy was born. The implication being that a rich complacent free self-governed people will sooner or later, democratically vote themselves out of individual freedom and back into government dependency, self-invoked tyranny and political bondage.
America’s founding fathers, the greatest human proponents of freedom in history, warned us repeatedly to remain forever vigilant in the protection and preservation of individual liberty and freedom. “Remember democracy never lasts long. It soon wastes, exhausts, and murders itself. There never was a democracy yet that did not commit suicide.” - John Adams, letter to John Taylor, April 15, 1814 There was only one other (unless you count Urtreck-spelling may be wrong? So that's a curious statement.) “Every government degenerates when trusted to the rulers of the people alone. The people themselves, therefore, are its only safe depositories.” - Thomas Jefferson, Notes on the State of Virginia, Query 14, 1781 Very wise words. But what can we do about Bush anyway? No impeachment process seems forthcoming, so I guess we're stuck with him till McCain becomes president. And That's going to put pee in everybody's Cheerios! LOL! The world’s greatest enemies of freedom and liberty have warned us as well. “Democracy is the road to socialism.” - Karl Marx (dead and burried and still full of $hit) Today’s Democrat Party is selling change again and they have exactly the same kinds of change in mind that Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Khrushchev and Alinsky had in mind. Those people were working to rid themselves of a king or a dictator. Just as America rid herself of tirrany. I don't think it is a fair assessment to equate one of the top two American political parties of today with revolutions of the past centuries. Today’s Democrats call themselves “the Party of the Working Class, the poor, the downtrodden.” They promise to rob from “the rich” for the betterment of the poor. In other words, they are selling exactly what Marx and many other communists have sold over the years, “From each, according to his ability; to each, according to his need.” There is nothing new, innovative or exciting about the kinds of change being offered by today’s DNC. They are the same old revolutionary ideas of men like Lenin,(dead) Marx(dead) and Alinsky in the past, and Chavez (paid too much homage by politicos in the west; an insipid little man) and Castro(failed and dying) today. But America is indeed a democratic society, which is only to say that the people must vote for Democratic Socialism. It can not be forced upon them. Socialism must be sold and purchased in America and so far, the sale is going just fine. Yes. And if we buy into Socialsm it will be because we are in a depression that the mismanagement of our funds in the recent years has put us into. Our future is visible in our past. Study the past well and choose your future wisely... NewsByUs: The American Pursuit of Democratic Socialism by JB Williams - Mar 1, 08 Are the majority of people in the USA buying and voting for socialism? No. Has our Republic been poisoned enough to cause it to eventually die? And no.

You don't seem to know there Mikeyy if you're not paranoid or a little paranoid, but I guess that makes you a confused paranoid. What's wrong with safety first? Anyone that thinks we should do nothing and hope the terrorists do nothing is a friend of yours, thats disgustingly scary.

People are very hungry for something new. I think they are interested in being called to be a part of something larger than the sort of small, petty, slash-and-burn politics that we have been seeing over the last several years. (BARACK OBAMA, Los Angeles Times, Dec. 11, 2006) So Spencer you're a Obama supporter? Quote:
(Barack Obama) That quote is one example of him pretending to be a moderate. So you prefer Obama over McCain. |

As for your questions. I lean left so I will answer for you.
You don't "lean left" - you ARE left. 1. Right to life. You have a right to life and liberty and the persuit of happiness. One million innocent American infants each year for more than 40 years, do NOT have a fundamental right to life. But every woman has a right to murder. If the mother murders, you call it abortion. But what do you call it when the father murders? 2.I have guns. You can have guns too. Tell this to people who live in the most dangerous cities in America, Washington DC and New York, both of which outlaw private gun rights. 3.If your happiness is a crime I'm against it. Earning more than my neighbor is now a crime, one that must be punished by taking away rightful earnings (happiness) of one, and purchasing the votes of others with those funds. The more you make, the more we take... Success is the only crime and democrats won't have it in America. We must all be "equal." Marx said so. 4. You can have all the religion you want. Thats the agreement for being an American. You can practice all the religion you want as long as I am not required to be involved. So enjoy. No Christ in Christmas on the public square, for fear of offending the 3% of Americans who believe in nothing at all, while teaching the Quran in public schools in the name of "history" and "tolerance" to Islam, and you think you have freedom of religious expression? Do you know that the Bible was the first book placed in every public library by the founders? Or that almost every founder warned that the system they designed was only suitable for a MORAL society capable of self-governance? 5, You can have all the property you want as far as I'm concerned. I don't remember that as being a right. And who tried to stop you? Ever heard of Kelo? Your guns, your land, your earnings, they are all your property. You don't know that at the base of freedom is property rights? No wonder you're a liberal. Like all liberals, you offered factually inaccurate rhetoric, and completely avoided answering the questions. WHERE DO DEMOCRATS STAND ON THESE FUNDAMENTAL AMERICAN RIGHTS? GO READ THEIR CAMPAIGN WEB SITES AND THEIR VOTING RECORDS AND TELL US WHERE THEY STAND ON THESE AMERICAN RIGHTS? And as usual you guys always change the subject to Clinton. Lets stay with one POTUS at a time. Your POTUS. The one who has broken the law. The one who got the telecoms to join him in breaking the law. And I am so tired of reading socialist this and that. I am not afraid of a socialist idea if it works. Like the interstate system for example. You don't like it when your overt hypocrisy is highlighted, do you. You also don't like dealing in fact based reality. The NSA program you speak of is directed only at international communications, where foreign terror cells are attempting to communicate with cells inside America. It did not involve "wire tapping" but "data mining." And the new laws making it "legal" were passed because the FISA law passed decades ago, did not cover modern technologies like email and blogging. So once again, you refuse to directly answer the questions, offer bogus arguments based on inaccurate facts and dodge the real issue. Tell us the difference between what Hitlery and Obambi are selling and what Marx, Alinsky and Lenin were selling. Those who refuse to study the past are doomed to repeat it and you are well on your way. |

No,I do not yet support "any" candidate. I was for Rudy but Republicans rejected him. I then supported Mitt but he too was rejected by his own party members in favor of McCain. I have always respected McCain until he became a "key" figure in the push for amnesty! Since I am not a single issue voter,I was willing to reluctantly give McCain a free pass and support him. However,he has now "adopted" more policy changes that trouble me. Suddenly, the use of water boarding is not torture when he once vigorously opposed it. He opposed the Bush tax cuts but now he wants to "appear" more conservative so no he "supports" them! So no..I not only do not support Obama or McCain,I don't support any candidate who is still in the campaighn. Quote:
Again..I do not yet support any candidate,I would be very interested to see if you support McCain and was he your first choice from the start or is he the candidate that you must "settle" for to maintain partisanship? Please answer my question,it would be most helpful in understanding your position!
