I am not paranoid. I'm just confused as to why you don't care if the administration breaks the law. And that they broke their oath to protect and defend the constitution. I know your mind is already running to make this about Clinton. Don't bother. He had his presidency. Its done. Bush is the POTUS now. Lets stay in the now.

I am a little paranoid though. I am afraid that some of you don't understand what past Americans died for. It was to create a country where the government is subservient to the people. Obama is pretending to be a moderate? He has the most liberal voting record in the senate.It's all over the internet,even the politically unwashed are aware of his record. I think it's better to rise above the cheap shots and attack Obama's record and while your at it take a close look at McCain's history! One million innocent American infants each year for more than 40 years, do NOT have a fundamental right to life. But every woman has a right to murder. If the mother murders, you call it abortion. But what do you call it when the father murders?

2.I have guns. You can have guns too.

Tell this to people who live in the most dangerous cities in America, Washington DC and New York, both of which outlaw private gun rights.

3.If your happiness is a crime I'm against it.

Earning more than my neighbor is now a crime, one that must be punished by taking away rightful earnings (happiness) of one, and purchasing the votes of others with those funds. I agree with Obama "here"..people are not only hungry for something new,they may in fact demand it in November and so be it. This is the system that we have chosen.For now,the system works,I will accept the will of the people,whatever it may be.I accepted Bush even though I did not vote for him.Who knows,if Obama is elected..there "may" be a thing or two I could agree with him on. I did not vote for Bush but I managed to support the WoT.Miracles can and do happen,Obama opposes "paid" lobbyists..I can see a hint of merit in that. No,I do not yet support "any" candidate. I was for Rudy but Republicans rejected him. I then supported Mitt but he too was rejected by his own party members in favor of McCain. I have always respected McCain until he became a "key" figure in the push for amnesty! Since I am not a single issue voter,I was willing to reluctantly give McCain a free pass and support him. However,he has now "adopted" more policy changes that trouble me. Suddenly,the use of water boarding is not torture when he once vigorously opposed it. He opposed the Bush tax cuts but now he wants to "appear" more conservative so no he "supports" them! So no..I not only do not support Obama or McCain,I don't support any candidate who is still in the campaighn.

Obama is stating a fact,I do not see this as posturing so that he can appear to be a moderate.We ARE the United States Of America,I'm sure that Obama does not "intend" to deny that political differences exist anymore than he denies ethnic differences. He is stressing that we must remain united or divided we fall.

Again..I do not yet support any candidate,I would be very interested to see if you support McCain and was he your first choice from the start or is he the candidate that you must "settle" for to maintain partisanship? Please answer my question,it would be most helpful in understanding your position!

I support McCAIN as the preferable choice to and as a no vote against Clinton or Obama.
My top 3 first choices were Romney, Hunter and Thompson.
I voted for Romney in the Michigan Primary.

And..so did I but I find McCains multiple positions at best,disturbing.I am by no means "alone" in this,many of my conservative friends are confused by his recent changes on several issues.Would I vote for McCain over Obama?
