Arizona cannot be classified as conservative, imho. It has a healthy mix of all political persuasions. There are also a lot of people there who enjoy the states health care benefits and other services. There are native Arizonans, retirees including snow birds and meth lab making and drug smoking ner-do -wells.

California around LA may be Liberal but there are a lot of gun toting capitalists most everywhere else it seems.

Many Democrats, and Liberals have died in all our wars fighting communists and dictators and terrorists, even their own brothers.
Fighting does not mean you are patriotic, it means you got drafted or needed a job in the National Guard.
