I want to ask lizzie if she seriously thinks the reason businesses aren't hiring is because of the Health care plan hanging over their heads?
That is just not true. I doubt anybody thinks gee I wanna start a business but wait in 2014 I might have to pay for my employees health care. I know it wouldn't stop me. Even if I started now and by the time 2014 rolled around I had made enough ahead to not take that as a whack on the head, I would still do whatever I had set out to do and hire who I needed.

The IPAB is a death panel and the implication it's a 'myth' -- is patently false.

That said, Alternet is the far-left equivalent to WorldNetDaily.

The Republican Party is more of a "slow death by starvation" Panel and at least that is a palpable truth, with all the homelessness their idiotic Reganomics and union busting have caused this once great country.

If John McCain had been elected president, many of the decisions he would have made would have been similar to those made by Obama.

The only difference would be that most who now denounce them would be supporting them and most who now support them would be denouncing them.

Part of that is correct imo. I think the same people would support McCain in his plans and the same dummies would be against him who are against the President we have now. Rush would be frothing at the mouth and McCAin may be in danger of his life and instead of buying a bus with tin soldiers and technology he would be huddled in a corner of the whitehouse wondering why he ever thought the miserable masses were worth his endangerment after he had already given his all to the call of his country when a young man.
I'm glad for his sake he didn't win.

thank you...you have reassured me that sanity still exists
after reading all the other posts I was beginning to doubt it
with very few exceptions; your assessment is spot on

You're deflecting. The IPAB IS a death panel. Look it up.

No. While McCain was a mealy-mouthed, fence rider, I've seen no evidence wealth redistribution was his goal for America, nor the gubmint seizing control of private industries, destroying our healthcare system, class and race warfare.

The list is endless.
