And, yes, chuck7251, parents need to be able to discipline their kids. Trouble is some of them are now afraid to. Bad parenting skills are also the result of bad parenting skills. What I mean by that is if a young lady's mom went to work and left her at day care, then felt guilty she wasn't spending more time with her and let some discipline slide-
Then the young lady in question is not going to have sufficient skills as a parent whether she stays home or not. We are seeing the results of this right now. Kids who were basically institutionalized as far as habits of daily living have little or no connection to years of common sense techniques used in raising kids.
And teachers in public schools aren't allowed to discipline kids and the kids know this.
