Right on the Mark: Merrily We Roll Along

Recently former President Bill Clinton suggested that we slow down our economy to combat global warming. Of course he did mention that we couldn't do it alone. But, while other thriving economies might be on board, the developing economies of the world would never agree to the idea...

Of course not...

Just look at Kyoto...Certain nations were exempt from it...It they weren't, no one would've signed it...

The established economies of the world meaning in the main those that have polluted the planet until a time is approaching when polar bears will need sun glasses , have a dilemma . Frustrate the international community that wants to curb their excesses or pretend to go along so as not to be seen as backward thinking . One cute little device is carbon trading , when you have punched so many holes in the ozone layer that the red light flashes you can buy extra pollution credits on the open market . Another cute little device is to put up a patsy on the podium and give him a pro- global script. One thing that unites the chinese and the west is this issue .
