That's funny...

I don't have to go back to 2008...

I can go back just 2 months ago and see how the media took to declaring that OBAMA was Reagan...

Time Magazine...

The Role Model: What Obama Sees in Reagan

National Public Radio...

What Obama Is Learning From Reagan's Example

ABC News...

Is Obama Another Reagan?

New York Times...

Let Obama’s Reagan Revolution Begin

Chicago Tribune...

Reagan and Obama, differently similar

US News & World Report...

Obama Is Emphasizing Ronald Reagan-like Optimism

Reuters...

Obama, facing resurgent Republicans, reaches for Reagan bio

ALL of these stories are within a 4 week period of each other...Think the media doesn't have a narrative?...

Then watch this...

So it's not simply some 2008 candidates "idolizing the guy"...

It's the fact that Reagan was so good that entities from BOTH sides attempt to cling off his popularity...

The difference, of course, is that CANDIDATES should try to ride the coattails until they get into office and become their own person...

Unlike the current president, who decided to be FDR early on...THEN decided to be Lincoln...And is now trying to be Reagan...

Obama's an empty container begging to be filled with whatever REAL leader will help him and his ratings...And every few months the media obliges...
