Default The size of the federal government

Just yesterday, a Republican congressional candidate, from upstate New York--I forget his name--mentioned that he could not remember when someone last said, "I really like the federal government; my one complaint about it is that it is just not big enough."

It is something to think about...

You don't understand what you are talking about, since claiming the federal government is too large is fact, not propaganda. Except for anything pertaining to the military on your lengthy list, those agencies fall outside the very narrow jurisdiction the Constitution granted the federal government. It has expanded way beyond the original intent given in the Constitution, costs the people way too much money, creates layers of expensive bureaucracies between the local and the federal governments, inhibits the freedoms our country was founded on, and has become totalitarian.

Bigger government in America is a mixed bag of some good and mostly bad new policies made to "improve" small groups that get attention....

Over done restrictions and under done common sense....

The vast majority (roughly 90%) of federal government spending is for Social Security, unemployment compensation, healthcare (primarily Medicare, Medicaid and CHIP), defense, veterans benefits, federal employee retirement, debt service, and transportation (highways, air traffic, etc.). It's pointless to complain about the size of government without being specific about what you would eliminate.

Everything that you mentioned minus the Veteran Benefits to start with.

I just randomly highlights a few of the space wasters you included.

The Federal Reserve, increased font, is supposedly NOT part of the Federal Government. I wonder if I wasted my time picking through your list, how much other garbage is in it. Or, from another view point, your list is simple proof of how bloated the Federal government has become, with redundancy, stupidity and self importance.......

name a danged successful society that had no taxes or tried to get taxes from poor people, had no publicly supported necessities. even in oligarchies there has to be order of some kind, much less in free countries, there should not be chaos. Chaos in America is what is wanted by our enemies. Our enemies, our enemies.

Are you capable of discussing the subject at hand? Apparently not, since your straw man argument about taxes has nothing to do with what I said about the how much the federal government has grown beyond what the Constitution allowed.

Chaos is exactly what Biden's open-border policy is accomplishing. The people pulling his strings are the enemy. Are you that incapable of seeing the obvious?
