Joe Biden's regard(or disregard) of norms
Between January 2017 and January 2021, people on the left frequently groused about Donald Trump's having destroyed all norms.
Well, he was guilty of this--I will admit it--but Joe Biden appears to be even worse in this regard.
(Do we no longer have three distinct, co-equal branches of government? Is the president now entitled to act as a dictator--pretending to acknowledge the authority of Congress--at least, for as long as he has majorities, however slim, in both chambers?)
Will the president now be constrained by nothing, just as long as he thinks he can get away with what he is doing?
I simply do not remember growing up in this sort of America...
