Ok I get that. but He shouldn't meet with ANYONE if that's really the case.
But Trump was so enamored with Putin that he probably shouldn't have met with Putin either. All the praise he lathered on him before and after the meetings didn't seem very "strong".
But in general can someone explain to me when could any U.S. president be seen as "weak" going into any meeting with a foreign power?

I'm not sure how people can view our country as operating form a position or "weakness" .
It's like when people whine about our military not being as strong as
it was or
could be, when the U.S. military is larger and more funded than the next 10 to 20 nations COMBINED.
