With Biden as it's senior Senator Delaware has long been a preferred location for businesses filing articles of incorporation thanks to its corporate friendly laws limiting consumers ability to seek redress for abuse. Senator Joe Biden has a history of extending these "courtesies" to corporate lobbyists in the US Senate.
Back in the day Joe Biden was known as MBNA Joe for the bank lobbyist written credit card "reform" bill he shepherded through Congress. Consumer groups were furious that Joe Everyman had pushed through a bankers wish list bill that made it harder for credit card users to shed their debt in bankruptcy. Funniest thing, fierce banking critics like Elizabeth Warren swallowed their opposition to Biden allowing their lobbyists to write their own regulations. Likewise the Pravda like media imposed a virtual blackout on Biden's cozy history with lobbyists.
Given his history it should be no surprise Biden has selected a former lobbyist and consummate Washington insider for the critical role of chief of staff.
Quote:
Joe Biden’s White House chief of staff will be a revolving-door lobbyist for bailout barons, fraudster drug companies, and major health insurers, all while Biden claims to be taking Washington back from the special interests.
Ron Klain served in the Clinton and Obama administrations, and in between, he was a lobbyist for K Street firm O’Melveny & Myers. His clients included Fannie Mae, the government-backed housing-bubble inflator that failed and required a taxpayer bailout. Klain lobbied for Fannie Mae from 2002 through 2005, the period when Fannie Mae successfully fought off stricter oversight from lawmakers concerned about taxpayer exposure.

The massive fraud and payoffs to Democrat politicians from Fannie Mae are well document. Suffice to say that when the former Chair of the government backed mortgage lender offered to help then candidate Barack Obama he was turned down as being too toxic. But Joe Biden plans to elevate corrupt Fannie Mae's top lobbyist to chief of staff.
Joe Biden appears only capable of working a few hours per day so the chief of staff's control over the appointment book is far more important than in a normal Presidency. Once again Democrats show no hesitation supporting the special interest run government they claim to despise.
