Bernie just throws out promises and money for the poor vote.....

That is his ilk….

Bernie panders to people that want the government to take care of them.....

Unbranded communist behavior basically....

Un American for the rest of the voters that are conservative in the US.....

Bernie is another far too old candidate for our country today...

Where is all the new young talent in either party.....???

my point was he would show strong in a debate. he knows the figures that trump would invariably lie about and trump knows that.

yes I've wondered about a younger candidate but none of the hopefuls on the dem side made a dent and on the republican side nikki thinks its better not to buck trump supporters and just wait till 2024.

Bernie was flabbergasted when the FNC anchor asked why he didn't pay the 52% federal income tax rate on the millions he made for his book sales. Other rich people must pay their fair share, not Bernie.

I am not especially a fan of Donald Trump--I expect to vote for him in November; but only because I consider Joe Biden to be an unthinkable alternative--but those "pat answers" are surely just what his handlers have written for him, and placed upon the TelePrompter.

I imagine that he is just as skilled at thinking extemporaneously as Bernie Sanders is. (By the way, I have no reason to believe that Sen. Sanders is particularly skilled in this regard.)

sanders knows the figures and the current state of the working class. I seriously doubt trump or biden do nor would they care. they think their establishment stance is right for the country because its right for the people they know. biden is not as bad as hillary and trump is a disaster. not just because of his slip ups on twitter. he's screwed foreign policy to the cross. allowing putin to pay taliban hits on us soldiers is just the latest in horrible actions.
but Im never going to convince you so have a nice evening

Donald is the best candidate for moving America in the right direction in the next election…..

Yes that hurt ……......….but I had to say it.....

I'm a Kennedy democrat that can see that the democrats today are a different breed and that ilk is not on my menu for any further leadership nation wide....

Pandering to certain organizations is 100% against how I was raised and allowing violence into any "message" with out police and the rule of law is not American....

These times today have never happened before, business lock downs, travel lock downs, the fear game is alive and profitable, beware....

Stay safe and keep one eye open....

we've never had a pandemic in modern times. the last epidemics we had were 100 years ago. it killed the 20 to 40 year olds. if we had known what we do now many deaths could have been avoided.
the police/black thing has been brewing for a long time. we have ignored the race thing for centuries and the haves and have nots are further a part than ever. there's a story called "Ignore a fire and it spreads"; I wish I could find it I'd send it to you.
At any rate have no fear biden will do much about it but he will be sensible and not dangerous as is trump.
anyway have a fine evening.

People that pay taxes understand tax brackets in that the more you earn, the higher the tax rate. As I don't have the tax tables in front of me, I cannot say what the cutoff is, but when you reach a certain level of income, your Federal (not including state and local taxes) reach upwards of 50% of a person's income.

I really don't expect you to understand this.

JFK would be rolling in his grave at the idea of someone claiming to be a “Kennedy Democrat” arguing that an amoral incompetent clown like Trump should be president. Just look at what you wrote. You correctly note that the current turmoil and upheaval is unprecedented. That’s correct, but using it as justification for continuing the status quo is the very definition of insane.
