Default "Eddie Haskell" is dead

Well, perhaps it would be a bit more accurate to say that Ken Osmond--who played "Eddie Haskell" in the late 1950s to early 1960s TV show, Leave it to Beaver--is dead. (According to the report that I have read, he died of COPD and peripheral artery disease.)

As Ken Osmond was typecast as Eddie Haskell, he did find it difficult to find other work acting (although he did manage to land a few stints). But just to pay the bills, he worked, instead, as a Los Angeles police officer, between 1970 and 1988.

Reportedly, he died with his family at his bedside.

this is one of those Mandela effects for me; I could have sworn he died several years ago.
