OH Good Lord Davey. Why do YOU think they had an emergency rate cut?

Do you think it was Trump? Or maybe....just maybe...it was an overblown virus scare?

No it CAN'T be that!!!! It is because of ORANGE MAN!!!! Of Course!!!

Just because they lowered them "under the Donald" doesn't mean they were lowered BECAUSE of the Donald...

Emergency Fed rate cut helps China with longer-term currency goals

Quote:
The U.S. Federal Reserve’s emergency interest rate cut gives China’s central bank much more leeway to lower its own rates, and boost the internationalization of the yuan, analysts said.

In response to concerns about the new coronavirus’ economic impact, the Fed surprised markets during the New York trading session on Tuesday with a half percentage-point rate cut. It came two weeks before a scheduled meeting. The last time the Fed took similar emergency action was during the financial crisis in 2008.

Is Regan responsible for 2008?

Why do you hate the idea that people are able to improve their position in life without government interference?

Jealousy?

Jealous/Lazy. In either case, I blame our public education system for not teaching these people that there is no free lunch, no matter how much Bernie or the other Democrats promise them. Anyone with the capability to do simple math should be able to see that their ideas are not possible. But when you have a group of people that make their decisions on emotions as opposed to logic, will typically fall for Utopian promises of a government than can provide for their every need.

Probably started with free lunch. God forbid a parent should be responsible for feeding their own child. The village should pay for it.

OK, I'll disagree with this. I went to a regional middle/high school (7-12) and 2 of the four regions had some lower income neighborhoods. In order to 'equalize' things, about 9th grade? they went from $.25 for lunch, to free, so that all children could participate, because not all could afford $1.25 per week.

I don't have a problem with that.

There are actually people with children that can't afford 1.25 per week?

I know there are low income people, but one thing they get is food stamps. Are kids not allowed to take sack lunches anymore? Or are the parents/parent, just not feeding their kids?

Thank God for abortion, or we would have millions more unwanted, and uncared for kids like this.
