Lots of anger.
no. that would be the corporate media that wanted republican lite to rain on bernie and or warren but instead got -as one commenter so colorfully expressed- two kung fu pandas back to back throwing the others in the ditch.

it's funny to concern oneself about this. stupidly funny.
do I want an honest smart person who cares about my country or one who pretends to and goes through the motions...

I remember a decade ago when there was that minor tard fit when Obama wouldn't wear a flag pin. There are a million actual ways to disrespect America and the anthem and the flag; unless you're grabbing your d-ck, hand placement isn't some triggering cardinal sin against patriotism.

this may come as a surprise but in all honesty i donít have an issue with tim ryan not putting his hand over his heart.
the primary reason is because his hand placement was not one of overt disrespect.
in fact he stood in a manner that appeared to be respectful in my opinion.
while i understand he was making a statement by not putting his hand over his heart it didnít rise to the level of remaining seated or kneeling or some other gesture.
after i got out of the military the first time i found myself in this situation i wasnít sure what to do because i had just spent several years at attention saluting during the anthem. my first instinct was to stand at parade rest. as i became more familiar with civilian life i changed to my hand over my heart. but i donít believe thatís the only way to show respect toward the flag, the anthem and the country.
i think this is much ado about nothing.
