Default The real loser in the Democratic debate

Many people have dubbed Joe Biden as the loser in Thursday's DNC presidential debate (with Kamala Harris touted as being the winner).

I really do not believe, however, that the loser was onstage that night.

Rather, the real loser, in my opinion, was Tom Perez (the chairman of the DNC).

That is because he churlishly refused to let Fox News carry the debate, live.

It is no secret that the left has attempted, ever since FNC's inception in 1996, to destroy Fox News; or, at least, to marginalize it.

Tom Perez just came off looking extremely petty in all this.

Fox News was never going to carry this debate live. It was an MSNBC/NBC exclusive. CNN didn't cover it live either.

Nah.

Nobody is going to determine their vote over which channels Tom Perez chose to let air the primary debates.

The real loser in my book is Beto O'Rourke. Biden can take a big hit or two and stay on top, but Beto was already nearing the drain circle before these debates. I can't imagine him being in much longer, especially if he make a strong impression in the next debate.

IMO they all lost. What campaign strategist engineered the lets all raise our hands declaring that we will give health care to all illegals? Present and future. Then they did it again declaring for open borders.

The winner is clearly President Trump. Both the present and future President Trump.

A good case can be made that Beto O'Rourke was a serious loser in this debate--at least, among those who appeared onstage.

I just believe that Tom Perez appeared petty and churlish in this matter, by appearing to want to marginalize FNC.

No, Fox News is primarily responsible for marginalizing Fox News.

Fox News is by no account marginalized. Fox has more viewers than the next two channels combined. Even if you throw in CNN, who now ranks somewhere around 15th. Behind HGTV and the Cooking channel.

I think what pj said was "appearing to want to marginalize FNC."

Exactly opposite your statement.

^^^ one would think that an attorney is proficient at "focusing on the issue/not the client"..
But who are we kidding.
If he does any lawyering, it's being an ambulance chaser.
