Knowing the leftist that Obama is. Would you have been happy with whoever he picked without knowing who exactly the judges are? It doesn't take a political science genius to figure out that a left leaning president is going to pick leftist judges and that a right leaning president is going to pick right winger judges.

Sure most intelligent people know that Trump changes positions more often than a indecisive porn star. So only morons think he is a conservative or right winger. So he could go pick a leftist judge or a right winger judge. So you are kind of justified in mocking the leftist college students for not liking Trump's nominee before that nominee is even named. Due to the media painting Trump as a conservative or right winger I doubt those leftist college students know this.

Plus Trump did name everyone he was considering for supreme court judge.

I can't speak for Hairy, but I will say that when Obama nominated Merrick Garland, I looked up his credentials and did a little research on his rulings. He was somewhat of a mainstream nominee and not near to the left as Sotomayor or Kagan. I thought he was much more centrist than I figured Obama would nominate. I would not have complained if he had gotten consideration by the Senate. However, I also didn't mind that the Senate employed the Biden rule.

So, to answer your question, I did not anticipate that I would like Obama's pick, but I waited until he made it, investigated and then made my decision. And as I said, had Garland been appointed, I could have lived with that.

I see what you are saying. However I think Obama only nominated Garland because he only had a short time left as president with a republican controlled house and senate and he knew that there was no way in hell he was going to get another Sotomayor or Kagan. When he nominated Garland I was skeptical of him.Was he only moderate on the issues that were low priority to Obama while still hard leftist on the issues that matter the most of Obama? For example was that man an illegal alien ass kisser and anti-2nd amendment like Obama is while maybe being moderate on Obama-care or vice versa? So I am glad they invoked the Biden rule or not confirming a justice near the end of a president's term.(Amazing how democrat's own actions screw them years or even decades later)

Pelosi says she's gonna fight Trump's SC pick and avenge Obama if it's the last thing she does.

That's right: Pelosi is gonna fight Trump's pick to the bitter end even though she has no clue who the pick is.

Lib logic is freakin' hysterical. Sad, but hysterical.

Pelosi vows to 'avenge President Obama' in Supreme Court fight

Quote:
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi sent out a dramatic, no-holds-barred fundraising email on Monday saying she is "determined to avenge President Obama if it’s the last thing I do" by premptively opposing President Trump's Supreme Court nominee.

In the email, Pelosi opens by acknowledging that she has been persistently appealing to potential donors lately: "I emailed on Saturday. I emailed on Sunday. Now I’m emailing you again today."

She then outlines her plan to get back at Senate Republicans for their refusal to vote on Obama's 2016 Supreme Court nominee, Merrick Garland. That vacant seat ultimately went to now-Justice Neil Gorsuch after Trump's election. Pelosi, though, has no actual vote in the confirmation process, and seemingly uses the email to raise money for House Democratic candidates.

The sad part is that this women keeps getting elected. The voters in her district must have some serious mental health deficiency issues.
